The Monongahela Area Library depends on your financial support.
Your support helps us bring our community educational, engaging, and enriching materials, resources, and programs.
All donations go to serve the communities of Monongahela, New Eagle, Carroll Township, Union Township, Nottingham Township, and Finleyville, along with the Ringgold School District.
We do this through:
- literacy efforts, such as our story times and book clubs, along with access to books, audiobooks, and other media through the WAGGIN library system.
- free computer use and WiFi access, study space, computer classes, and online tools with in-person guidance when requested for various needs such as job seeking and educational growth.
- a safe space for teens with activities geared toward their interests and maker spaces for creative outlets such as art, crafts, and games for all ages.

Memorial Donations
Memorial donations in memory of a loved one can be made through our online form, which can be printed and mailed or dropped off.
Volunteers
Volunteers are always welcome to help at the library. A form can be filled out at the library and you'll be contacted when we have need.
Book Donations
We accept book donations most of the time but occasionally we do put it on hold when the donations start to pile up.
Please call ahead to 724-258-5409 to check that we are accepting donations at that time. Please drop donations off during open hours and do not leave books on the library porch. Books must be in gently-used condition.
We do not accept textbooks or reference books. Thank you!
